Our Tanzanian Peaberry coffee comes from the slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater - an area of global importance for its rich biodiversity.
Water from a stream flows through the property, down from the mountains and is used for processing the coffee and as a source for elephants, cape buffalo, warthogs, and antelope.
The coffee is grown under shade trees allowing the soil to retain its moisture. It is sun dried in raised beds. Sustainable farming practices integrate environmental preservation with the goal of long-term viability.
